I spotted Nyree as a foal at Helen Dohan's Woranora Stud in 2015 after travelling up to view another filly. She was out of a palomino mare by Ysselvliedts Golden Boy (Jasper's Sire) meaning that alongside her gorgeous markings and being black, she may also possibly carry cream. It was hugely special to us that she has Golden Boy in her lines as we loved what he produced in Jasper. Her DNA results come back positive for cream which sealed the deal to acquire her to our dilute show team. My first ever little black beauty, I was delighted to have her coming down to live with us in Victoria. 
Nyree is a first foal from Nesta and stands at 10.2hh. Although under-height, she has gone on to be a hugely successful pony in hand within her junior years and into her first year being shown as a mare in 2020. Not only a beautifully marked pony, Nyree also moves out fantastically. With lovely straight limbs and a flowing top-line paired with a great depth of body, she possesses all the desirable Welsh characteristics that have helped her pursue a successful career in hand in all sections being the pick of the ring in Welsh, Colour & Open competition. Nyree has been heavily shown in hand from a yearling to a four year old. She has been lightly started with the breaking in process and has accepted every challenge with no issues what-so-ever, she is truly an easy pony. Perfect for one of the grand-children should they want to ride or perhaps a foal soon within her near future.
