We were looking for a competitive Buckskin Filly to show alongside Jasper and so the wait for Helen's next drop of foals begun. We were delighted to not only know a filly had been born, but that Helen was willing to part with her as well. We went to view her in late 2015 and also fell in love with Nyree who was born the same drop. 
Unfortunately due to issues of colour classification regarding amount of white (despite DNA test results indicating that she is Buckskin) there was no guarantee for her to pass in Victoria at that time. We were delighted to have the opportunity to buy her further down the track as a 3yo. We are so lucky to have still ended up with her and are indebted to Cate & Helen for allowing it to happen. 

Popstar has been lightly shown as a young pony due to buying her in her winter woolies and sending away to stud (sadly to no avail). She has now matured into a fabulous mare and is showing great promise in the show ring in hand. Popstar was broken in as of November 2020 and is working towards her saddle debut. A very willing and honest girl, she is doing a great job. 
Boasting big bold eyes, a gorgeous chiselled head and lovely body, we are excited for her time ahead with us in the show ring and eventually to be one of our broodmares.
